Wilsonian Idealism Enthroned

What sacred tradition did events require that Wilson have to shatter.

What does the significant number of Congressional votes against the war resolution show, especially in the midwest.
8. The significant number of Congressional votes against war resolution shows that the country was not at all enthusiastic for war, especially in the landlocked Midwest.

So, this meant that Wilson was forced to do what?
9. This meant that Wilson was forced to take new aims to galvanize the country.

What were those goals?

Was he sincere, and did it work?
